A Prisoner of War Prayer

Almighty God, Giver of all things, Maker of All men in all situations everwhere:

Bestow upon us some small portion of Thy abundant Grace, that we might best serve Thy cause. Grant us an extra portion of Thy love that we may be enlightened in our eternal search for the Holy Grail of Rightiousness.

Father, daily we carry our most grevious afflictions and fatigue of past battles and wars with pride, and we offer our gratitude for having given us the opportunity to serve your Cause and the Cause of our Great Nation. We are grateful that we have endured.

Grant us the harmony of our deliberations and our sacred fellowship of endured hardships and deprivations.

All this to Thy Glory. Amen.
